Information Technology Teacher

UK Teaching is searching for an enthusiastic, well-humoured, qualified teacher to fill an ICT teaching post, in Surrey.

Should you wish to join a strong and supportive department and a team of experienced and be prepared to work with colleagues to develop the curriculum then we would like to hear from you.

The school boasts amazing facilities including smart boards in every laboratory and the successful applicant will be allocated their own classroom and be issued with a laptop. There is also a full compliment of qualified technicians who you will be working along side. The school values the importance of being small (capacity only 800 pupils) and caring, offering a full and true comprehensive education.

The school has an excellent track record of staff development and retention and there are set schemes in place that are made available to all staff.

This is an over-subscribed 11-16 school serving a semi-rural catchment area to the south-west of London. The school is recognised as a dramatically changing school and is developing rapidly in its support for teaching and learning across the school.

Our accreditation process is extremely thorough and we comply with all current DfES guidelines and fully endorse " Every Child Matters."

Our clearance process consists of thorough security checks to include qualification status with the GTC together with Health, CRB and reference checking. There will be an informal interview to detail your employment history, thus ensuring complete peace of mind to both teachers and schools.

A formal teaching qualification (verified by UK Naric if awarded overseas)
Qualified Teacher Status
A valid passport for ID verification
A relevant visa/working permit which allows them to work unrestricted in the UK
Two educational references dated within the last five years
Twenty year referencing history
A standard medical check
All relevant police checks including a current CRB disclosure form and any overseas checks
A current curriculum vitae covering all previous teaching positions.
