UK Teaching is currently looking for an English teacher. Outstanding Private school. Immediate start.
English is fast-paced and challenging for all students. There is also a stimulating programme of activities for Gifted and Talented students. At GCSE a very high percentage of candidates achieve grades A*-A grades and at A level a large proportion of candidates gain A or B grades. A Level English Literature is a popular choice at A Level.
This is a hard-working and successful Department. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated person who can work as part of a team and teach English at all levels. A particular interest in Drama or Media Studies would be very much welcomed.
The Department is actively involved in extra-curricular activities and takes a special interest in the school magazine and drama. Each year theatre visits for various age ranges are organised
The post offers an excellent opportunity for a teacher who wishes to develop his/her skills working with pupils of high and very high ability. The post would suit either a newly qualified teacher or a more experienced teacher seeking to broaden his/her experience.
All applications must include: a covering letter, CV and the names and addresses of two referees.
